This hunting lease is leased and not available. If you want to lease a large piece of Indiana real estate for great waterfowl and whitetail hunting, this is the one for you. This hunting lease is 1,720 acres on Ribeyre Island in Indiana and is nothing but river bottoms. The farm only has about 5 acres of woods, but these little wood lots had all kinds of deer sign. Farm is surrounded by a berm that protects the crops from flooding. Once the farmers get the crops out, they will open the gates to allow water in whenever the river comes up. This should create some of the best waterfowl hunting you will find in Indiana. Farm is broken up into 2 different tracts that will allow you multiple set ups. There are a couple of sloughs spaced out in various parts of the southern tract that should hold water most of the winter.

I talked to a couple of the neighbors and they have killed at least 3 deer off of this Island that they said were 200"+. Call me crazy I know, but one of the landowners told me they kill 8-10 bucks off of their property every year that go 160"+. The genetics and the potential for a world class whitetail is on this Island. You will just have to figure out how to hunt this piece, but you do have 95% of the Islands crops on your side. There is an Illinois outfitter that manages over 20,000 acres just to the south and west of this property. Happy Hunting!
