This hunting lease is leased and not available. This is a great piece of Tioga County, Pennsylvania farmland. I was very impressed as soon as I pulled in to begin walking the property. There is a small wooded area close to the roadway that contains nice apple trees. The trees were loaded with apples and there were tracks and droppings in the area. The fields on this property are planted in row crops and a pasture mix of red and white clover. The adjoining properties are also planted in row crops. The more I walked the property the more impressed I became. The woodlot at the far southwest corner was loaded with rubs, trails and droppings. No doubt if this area was hunted right, it would produce a nice Tioga County buck. The woods have mature timber with some nice red and white oak scattered throughout. There are some very thick pines, swamp and brush areas that make great bedding sites. There is a small stream and swamp for water. The wooded areas contained lots of beds and droppings, along with older rubs. This property offers good access from two roads. If you are looking for a larger tract, you can add property #6171, which borders this land, to have larger acreage. This land is very close to Wellsboro, PA and the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. There are lots of campgrounds, cabin rentals and motels for those hunters from out of the area. It is also a short drive to New York. If you are looking for a great hunting property, don't pass on this one or property #6171.
