Steve
grew up on a grain farm in Central Kentucky. His background shows his
deep appreciation for the outdoors. In his younger years, he was
active in youth activities with the conservation service, and earned
numerous outdoorsman awards. He is also an Eagle Scout. Steve attended
the University of Kentucky where he graduated with a degree in
Agricultural Economics in 1984. His work experience includes being
the Meade County Agricultural Extension Agent and owner and operator of
a farm supply business. Steve resides on a farm near Elizabethtown, KY
with his 3 children.
