This is our first time leasing a hunting property and a lot was riding it. We had a total of 6 hunters on the property opening day and we were all psyched to get out there. The morning was a success for one hunter and as a few guys were taking a break before noon time this buck came out from the tree line. Marcus quickly loaded, and guys were yelling, "big buck, get your guns!" Marcus took his 30-06 and dropped him. It was Marcus' first buck and it's certainly bigger than what we see up north. Marcus was certainly proud to bag his first buck with all of our friends around. And we were thrilled this lease has been such a great success.
