This hunting lease is leased and not available. Base Camp Leasing has a 200 acre hunting lease available for immediate lease in Chenango County, New York. This hunting lease is less than 8 miles from Norwich, New York. I jumped deer 3 times and turkey once on my site inspection. The landowner stated he sees turkey and deer every day! The landowner has a working beef farm. There are about 55 acres that is a 5 strand high tensile fence. None of the woods or ravines are fenced pasture. The property lies on 2 sides of the road. The west side is a small hay field that drops off to a ravine that is loaded with apple trees and deer trails. The small creek is the west border. The east side of the road is about 187 acres. There are 2 small hayfields in the north-east corner (lots of clover in them). There is a ravine that runs north to south through the middle of the property. This is loaded with deer sign and apple trees . The ravine is not steep but is wide enough to be a natural funnel. The hunting lease sets up for great access from the west and the east. There is over 1/2 mile of road frontage on both sides. The property slopes uphill to the east. The main woods is over 44 acres. The north west corner also is loaded with deer sign. The landowner stated there are over 200 apple trees on the property. I believe there is many more. The landowner will allow posting of property. ATV use is allowed for hunting purposes only.
