The lease features a range of habitat, including wooded draws, timber ridges, a tree-lined creek valley, woods and draws that divide row crop fields.
The wooded draws offer a safe travel corridor for deer moving from bedding, food, and cover. The woods and draws dividing row crop fields enhance the lease's appeal as a hunting spot, as they create a natural funnel for deer to move through. There was a concentration of deer trail road crossings where the woods were on both sides of the road, quick access to a tree stand in those areas.
The creek that runs through the valley serves as an ideal water source for game. In addition to the creek, the property also features ponds that provide a place for deer to water.
The drainage draws in the lease provide cover for game and offer a natural pathway to move through the area.
Deer food sources are abundant in the lease. The row crops in the valley and fields serve as a main food source for deer.
This lease is a working farm with crops to be harvested. This farm can easily support 4 experienced hunters without leaving too much of a footprint.
