This hunting lease is leased and not available. Here's a nice remote lease on a dead-end road that gives you easy access to 100's of acres of state ground surrounded by Cataract Lake (Cagles Mill). Property is located above the upper end of the lake and the deer will cross back and forth between different sides of the lake if there is any pressure on the state ground. The terrain is very steep in this area and if someone was to come in from land it is not an easy hike and it would be extremely hard to get a deer out. This lease has a nice logging road that runs over 2000' to the back of the property giving you the best access to this section of public land. If someone wants to come in by boat, they will push the deer right to you as you sit above the lake in the big wide open timbered ridges on this property. I jumped a couple different groups of deer on the day of inspection and the old logging road has a lot of old scrapes up and down it. There are a lot of good places for lodging and food less than 5 minutes from this property around the lake. Responsible ATV/UTV use ok for hunting purposes only.
