This hunting lease is leased and not available.
Anderson County is known for big deer, so you never know what might show up on this lease. The big rubs i found certainly got my adrenaline pumping!
Pottawatomie creek runs through the middle of the 235 acre tract, on the west side of the road. There is a great looking thicket and swampy area on the south side. I kicked up four deer out of the woodlot on the west side on the day of inspection.
The 160 acre piece on the east side of the road is where the owner lives and he says he sees deer in his pasture and waterway over there quite often as well. This area looks a lot better in person than it does on the aerial map, and there were a handful of fresh rubs this year. He has a few horses and a few head of cattle in the small pasture (outlined in blue) at times.
There is a sweet little bungalow available to rent on a nightly basis if you are interested. It looks like the ultimate bachelor pad, complete with pool table, shuffle board table, poker table, bar, couches, t.v.'s, four beds and a full bathroom. This will be a separate rental.
