This hunting lease is leased and not available.
I get asked often about Marshall County...here is the farm you want to pursue the nice bucks this area is known for. Three different locations! Three for one sounds pretty good to any hunter!
The coolest part about this lease is that all 3 spots are different types of habitat. The west 40 acre section, where the owner lives, is tillable and timber. All types of nice hardwoods in the timber, and the field is rolling from north to south. The neighbors have great ground too... so this is a prime spot and is loaded with active deer sign. The east 39 acres has 5 acres of wetlands surrounded by dense cover including cedar trees. All the cover is then surrounded by tillable ground. Eight acres of woods on the Tippecanoe river complete the hunting lease. See below the special access instructions for this 8 acres. This piece is just a few minutes drive east of the main farm.
The landowner requests the following:
No Squirrel or Rabbit hunting.
No Turkey hunting, but you can hunt Turkey at the 8 acres on the river.
Contact leasing agent after requesting permission slip for inspection because the main farm is very private and they want to be notified that someone is coming to see the farm.
You cannot inspect the 8 acres. Once leased, they will get you the information to obtain parking permission on the neighbor's ground so you can walk back to the 8 acres to prepare trees, scout or hunt. This is only to keep unknown traffic off this piece of property.
There is no doubt the lease will be a keeper! Follow the rules set by landowner and you will have some prime deer hunting. Marshall is one of the top counties in Northern Indiana, and getting ground on the Tippecanoe River is almost unheard of.
Limited ATV okay for hunting related purposes only.
No ATV allowed to access 8 acre section on the river.
Note the first aerial picture the 79 acres is split by another tillable field (which I highlighted in Green) but you have 10' of access on the north and south side of this field. Very unique.
