Yes, all these monster bucks were taken off this property!
Located adjacent to the Wolf Creek Power Plant property, this property has a rich tradition of producing true wall hanger bucks. The power plant has very limited and strict hunting regulations that allow the deer to grow big and then travel the surrounding area. Our property features some of the proof that they have visited it. Big rubs were plentiful up in the woods along the creek on the northern part of the property. However, I think the southern part of the property could be another hot spot this fall. The transition area around the old schoolhouse, which is located between heavy cover to the east and the crops to the west looks like a great spot to keep your eye on.
Also, do not forget about the WATERFOWL possibilities. Crop fields located this close to the lake can be incredible magnets for geese. I also kicked up several groups of ducks on the ponds.
Cattle will be on this property part of the year.
Conveniently located only 3/4 mile from Hwy 75, with a blacktop road along the south side of the property. There are driveways on the SE and SW corners of the property.
The Coffey County airport is just across the road to the north, for anybody that wants to fly in.
Deer unit 11.
