This hunting lease is leased and not available. This property in west central MN is massive! Its 1 1/4 miles north to south, and 1 mile east to west. It has at least 10 great tree stand locations scattered throughout the entire property from end to end. It has great access from the south end as well as the north end. Some very big deer have been harvested in this neigborhood. This area has the perfect mix of cover and crops. All of the ponds and potholes on this farm create perfect funnels for deer hunting. On the south end of this property there's a long lake with lots of timber on each side of it. In order to get around the lake the deer have to cross around through this property. While I was walking the property I flushed pheasants in three different spots. I think the pheasant hunting will be great. Theres more than enough thick cover to wear your dog out. After the corn is off the potholes should be fun hunting. The waterfowl hunting should be amazing! There are several medium to large ponds that we're holding good water even with the drought going on. Feel free to bring or build some duck blinds by the ponds. After the corn is picked you can easily get to all the ponds. A few of the ponds in the pasture are easy to drive up too anytime. Most of the ponds have awesome trees around them to hang stands in as well. The green area on the map is a pasture, it has cows on it from May 15- October 15. A few of the ponds are in the pasture. It may make for some lucrative duck and goose hunting. As for the deer hunting I don't think the pasture will hurt anything. None of the stand locations mentioned above were even in the pasture. If anything the fence might funnel them and make deer hunting easier. Camping is allowed and there's some great spots. There's actually a little cabin on the property that you can use. It's not in the best shape and has a broken window. You can store gear here as well.
