This hunting lease is leased and not available.
Here's a nice little 35-acre farm being offered for lease in Douglas County. This property is made up of timber, pasture ground, and water, as the Embarras River is northern border. As you will see in the photos, the deer are definitely traveling through the timber, to get to the ag fields. I found a couple of heavily used deer trails while walking the property that were running east and west, which makes sense, as that would be the travel direction to the ag fields. There are cattle on this farm, and they are normally rotated around. When I was there, the cattle were being kept up by the barn. Because the river is the northern boundary, this farm will more than likely be susceptible to flooding, especially during the spring when we receive heavy rains. Nonetheless, if you are looking for a smaller farm for just yourself or maybe you and your child, this farm would certainly fit your needs.
