This hunting lease is leased and not available.
Here is a nice little 35-acre farm in Douglas County. This property is a blend of timber, pasture ground, and water, as the Embarras River meanders along the northern border. As depicted in the photos, the deer are traveling through the timber to reach the adjacent ag fields. I found a couple of heavily used trails that were running east and west, which made sense, as that would be their main direction of travel. This farm will undergo a select timber harvest in June and should help this property out a lot with the cover the tops will provide. There are cattle on this farm, and they are typically rotated around the property. When I was there, the cattle were being kept up by the barn. Because the river is the northern boundary, this farm will be susceptible to flooding, especially during the spring when we receive heavy rain. Nevertheless, if you are looking for a smaller farm for yourself or perhaps for you and your child, this farm would be the ideal fit.
