This hunting lease is leased and not available. Nice mountain property in Unit 2C that is surrounded on three sides by 5100 acres of Forbes State Forest. Property was select cut roughly around 2010 and is a mix of thick and open woodlands. This is a good area for deer and turkey and there have been bear known to frequent the area so don't forget that bear tag. Some really nice bucks have been taken by the landowners family in the past. There are some old logging roads that are easily passable by foot but would need some work clearing for ATVs. I found quite a few buck rubs and beds on the northern side of the property and there is a creek that runs along the northeast boundary. I also found quite a few beds on the south side of the property. The landowner is a great guy and easy to work with. There is a hall on the property that is rented out on weekends for weddings/graduations from May through mid Oct. during those weekends the owner would like you to park in the area that is outlined in yellow on the aerial photo provided in the description. ATVs are allowed for hunting purposes only. Lodging is available in the nearby towns of Jones Mills and Donegal
