Here's a farm in a county where hunting leases don't come available very often. If you live nearby, or even within driving distance, you'll want to give this one a very serious look. It's only 20 minutes from downtown Kankakee and about an hour from downtown Chicago, making it a great option for weekend hunts without a long drive. This lease is open to all legal game, and with the location being so close to several major cities, you could realistically be out there hunting almost every weekend. I haven't walked the farm yet, so you will want to request driving directions and check it out in person. That said, the aerial photo looks very promising and gives you a good sense of the layout. Take a close look at the zoomed-in version I uploaded; you will more than likely identify a few stand locations that stand out right away. There looks to be a couple of very nice pinch points along the creek channel that runs through this farm. There is no doubt the bucks will be traveling through this property during the pre-rut and rut. Based on what I'm seeing from the aerial alone, this farm could really pay off if it's set up and hunted right.
