This hunting lease is leased and not available. This is a very nice river bottom farm located in Wabash County, which is not only a deer lease but is open to all legal game and waterfowl. The property is made up of timber, row crops, bedding, and water. There is also a canal that flows through the property and has made a couple very nice funnels, where the deer will have to travel through. Yes, you can walk across the canal. There was probably about 4 to 5 inches of water flowing when I was there. However, because I didn't have my rubber boots with me, it didn't walk across it, you definitely need rubber boots above the ankles. The pictures you see are from the south side of the canal and the west side of the farm. During the spring rains, I highly doubt you will be able to cross it on foot. The yellow line on the aerial photo depicts the easement/farm road to the property. This easement is rocked and has a very wide parking / turn around area. This lease is also very secluded, as you are about a 1/2 mile off the county road, with no worries of road noise or traffic.
