This hunting lease is leased and not available. 34 Acres in Marquette County. This is a "Deer Hunting Lease Only" for all the hunting seasons. This property is approximately two thirds timber, one third crop ground which is a good mix. The timber is mostly mature pine trees with a few hardwoods mixed in. There is good underbrush throughout the pines creating plenty of bedding areas. Lots of deer sign was present during my inspection. Tracks, trails, beds, rubs, and scrapes were all visible. A small low-lying area in the northwest corner of the property showed good use and directed travel along it. Several scrapes and rubs were noticed along the field edges and along the west tree line. This could be a great parent/child type lease. Respectful use of ATV's is allowed for hunting related purposes only when weather and ground conditions permit. Respect all boundaries. The landowner would like to meet the hunters initially and would be happy to show the property if so desired. No tree cutting. Minimal brush cutting for shooting lanes. If there is any question about this, please contact the landowner before cutting. No use of nails, screws, or screw in tree steps.
