This hunting lease is leased and not available. Heres a super nice mountain top property that is over a mile long. This property has some of the best deer sign I have seen in awhile. From the moment I stepped on the property it was scrapes, deer droppings, and rub after rub all over, plus I bounced 12 deer along the way. The property runs along the top and south facing sides of Pisgah Mtn and consists mostly of mountain laurel, red oak, hickory, pines, maple and ash and has 2 small ponds in the north east end. A pole line runs north to south with potential for possible clover food plots. There were numerous deer runs throughout and I found a few beds and some turkey sign. Carbon County is well known for bears and judging by the pictures this property has them. To the north of the property is mostly wooded mountains and to the south of the property there is some AG fields and Mauch Chunk Reservoir. Deer coming from the fields to the south will be looking to bed on your south facing ridge which has some good benches and thick woods. There is a decent quad trail system throughout the property for ample access along with 2 access points from the west. Respectful ATV use and camping is allowed but no campfires. There is an easement for a rail to trails path maintained by the county along the southern quarter of the property that mountain bikes are allowed but no ATVS. The property also has a property manager who is great to work with and who will retain access to the property. The manager has posted and painted the main entrances and helps to maintain the trials but they do not hunt at all. The manager is a great resource for information about the property and she does maintain several cameras as well. You will receive her contact information at time of lease. This is the first time this property is being lease and I suggest posting it accordingly. Lodging is 15 minutes away in Lehighton, Tamaqua, and Jim Thorpe.
