A few years back, the magazine Missouri Game & Fish released an article that showcased the top spots for record book bucks in Missouri. The article primarily concentrated on the Missouri River basin and its various counties. Among these prime counties is Cooper County, and after examining the harvest photos from this farm, I am inclined to believe that the article's claims about hunting for record book bucks may indeed hold true. This farm features a varied landscape with scattered woodlots and rolling hills that are cultivated with row crops. Ponds and grassy wooded draws are likely to attract wildlife, ensuring their presence in the area. Numerous interconnected woodlands will promote consistent deer movement during the rut. The landowner has a positive view of the quality of deer in the vicinity. Additionally, the neighboring community seems to be dedicated to Quality Deer Management (QDM). This farm is secluded, with no roads traversing or bordering its property. Generally, the land is planted with both soybeans and corn, depending on the weather conditions.
