This hunting lease is pending and not available. This farm is located not far from Astoria, IL. The property features timber, row crops, and those signature Fulton County hog back ravines. There are a couple of nice, secluded pockets on the farm that you can identify in the aerial photo. The deer should feel very comfortable entering the ag fields during daylight hours, especially since the timber sits well back from the road with minimal traffic. A ravine runs the length of the timber, creating a natural funnel where deer are likely to enter the row crops. The green line on the aerial photo represents an easement for the property owner to the north. However, when I visited the farm a vast majority of the easement was planted in row crops. So, I'm not sure how this easement is going to be accessible while the crops are in. Still, it's something you need to know. Regardless, this property is in a fantastic location and offers a ton of opportunities if hunted properly. Plus, it's Fulton County, an area known for consistently producing good bucks.
