This hunting lease is leased and not available. This is a nicely laid out farm with almost a mile of frontage along the Vernon Fork of the Muscatatuck River. This drainage basin of the Muscatatuck River has some big deer coming out of it. They way the terrain runs along the river it creates some great pinch points and travel routes for the deer that you can set up on with a West wind and have some easy shots down into the bottoms. Most stand sites you can be above the river and still cover most of the field with a Rifle if any deer was to cross out in the open or come down one of the drainages. There's a secluded field in the southwest corner of the farm that will be a great location to catch them coming out to feed in. The field in the Northwest corner between the two wood is a good spot to catch a buck crossing between cover during the rut. When you look at the zoomed-out aerial you can see all the connecting cover around this farm. In this part of the state, you never know what will come cruising through. I saw 3 Toms here the day of inspection, so turkey hunting should be good as well.
