This lease includes two separate tracts located in the beautiful Flint Hills of eastern Wabaunsee County.
The smaller 81-acre tract has a ton of diversity and features Snokomo Creek meandering through grassy meadows, creating four separate fields in the bottom.
The wooded, brushy ridges should provide excellent cover and travel routes. Cattle will be winter on this property starting mid fall.
Nobody lives on the property full time, but there is a barndaminium the owners stay in sometimes and may be available to rent while you are hunting.
The larger 162-acre tract is located on a dead-end minimum maintenance road and is used for cattle summer grazing until mid-fall. It was freshly burned shortly before my visit to the property, so all the grass was just starting to grow back. We spotted four deer. Two together, and then two singles that were hiding in the brushy draws.
