This hunting lease is leased and not available. A very nice farm being offered for lease in Edgar County, one of the best counties in Illinois, in my opinion. While walking the property, it was clear that deer are using and traveling through the farm regularly. I found a couple of great spots to hang a stand. There's one particular location where a stand should absolutely be placed, as it offers a great vantage point to cover a lot of ground with a firearm once the leaves and underbrush are down. A small stream meanders through the property as well, which appears to be seasonal. Even so, most seasonal creeks hold some water during the fall, which can be critical during the pre-rut and rut. If you know anything about Edgar County, you know the caliber of bucks that have been taken here in recent years. While this farm may be on the smaller side, I believe it has a ton of potential if hunted properly.
