Approximately 60 acres of the property is planted row pine with the remaining acreage a good mixture of larger regeneration pine and hardwood timber. Plenty of mast producing oaks are scattered about the property and two large food plots are in place.

Along the northern boundary of the property there is a good access road allowing entrance into the property and you are greeted with large timber for plentiful stand placement opportunities. Plenty of turkey tracts lined this road during my walk and no shortage of deer tracks. There is also a power line right of way along the northern edge that could serve well for a food plot.

Situated at the southern end of the property is another well maintained access road allowing entrance into the property. Two large food plots are situated here and looked excellent! The food plots make a horseshoe arrangement allowing for the perfect opportunity to sit that blind or stand and cover some serious ground. Tons of large deer tracks littered this area, and heavy browsing could be seen on the fields.

This one is going to produce, and Lamar County has the deer and turkey!
