Located on the Kansas/ Missouri border, and on the eastern edge of Bourbon County, these 527 acres will give you plenty of options for hunting some trophy whitetail deer, turkey or even waterfowl in the ponds.
The northwest and northeast pastures each feature some excellent draws and creek bottoms coming up from the Osage River, which is only a quarter mile to the north.
The south pastures are bordered by big timer on one side and crops on the others.
The south 80 is crops, with a really good hedgerow along its west side and between it and the west 40 a crop field. In fact, there are thick hedgerows around all of the crop fields that also connect to bigger chunks of neighboring timber.
The owner went on and on about how many deer he sees crossing here. He lives up on the hill and can see a lot of the property from his front porch. I found big rubs on both ends of this farm, as well as tons of tracks, while inspecting.
