70 acres in Marathon County. This is a Deer and Turkey Lease Only. This property has a good mix of habitat including hardwoods, pines, marshy area, crop ground, and a small creek. Row crops and hay are the norm in the fields. This property's location can make this a great travel area for roaming bucks during the rut. Larger tracts of timber on either side of this property can provide movement all day long. Plenty of sign was visible during my inspection including heavy trails, tracks, rubs, scrapes, and beds. During my inspection I jumped a group of at least 5 deer bedded in the hard woods. Access to property is from the east with a couple of driveways for parking. The landowner told me on 04/22/25 that he counted over 60 turkeys on the field with several toms. Respectful use of ATVs is allowed for hunting related purposes only when weather and ground conditions permit. Don't damage any crops. Respect all boundaries. The landowner lives near the property and between him and his neighbor they keep a close eye on the property. The landowner would like to meet hunters initially.
