This property is located inside the city limits, which means it is an archery only lease (no shooting within 600 ft of buildings per city ordinance) and conveniently located within 10 minutes of the Ohio Turnpike as well as Interstates 75/475 and 280. This long narrow tract is located in a prime area for city bucks, not far from the city of Toledo, and has thick enough cover to hold many deer. The deer sign on the property shows just that. Rubs throughout the property from last fall and very evident deer trails and many deer beds upon walking. Open old field habitat on the west side of the property. Train tracts on the east side for easy access. The center is very thick cover with large (mostly cottonwood) open timber randomly scattered throughout the parcel. This sets up one of my favorite rut hunting conditions. Open areas inside of thick cover. Ag on the neighboring property to the east, setting up this property as a perfect city buck bedding area as well as cover travel routes between warehouses.
