This 28 acre lease in Harrison County, Indiana is going be dynamite! I jumped so many deer while walking it and saw so much sign as well. There is a good sized hay field and there were three deer in it when I pulled up. When I started walking around the woods, two more in the woods took off that I could not get a photo of and one was big bodied. The woods is thick but there were several trails running through it. A lot of sign along the field edges here and should make for some great ambush spots in the evenings. The terrain is gently rolling and there are several drainages that will hold a little water for the deer. The field and the hardwoods will provide all the food the deer need and the cover is sure to keep them bedded close by. Harrison County, Indiana is a great county for deer and turkey. It is consistently in the top counties for harvest numbers of both animals and this lease is going to give you some great hunting! We do not get a lot of leases in this area, so lock this up ASAP!
