This hunting lease is leased and not available. Base Camp Leasing has a 375-acre hunting lease available for immediate lease in St Lawrence County, New York. This hunting lease is in WMU (6A) and located close to Canton, NY. Most of the south boundary is an old railroad bed (tracks removed) The west side of property are several working fields (hay and clover) with scattered apple trees and oak along edges. The property is flat with small knolls throughout the woods. It rained over 2" the night before I looked at the property, so it was wet. I saw deer 4x on my inspection. I was able to get photos 3x (see pics). The landowner has stated deer, turkey and the occasional bear reside or travel through property. The property has never been leased and hunted a little by friends in the past. The landowner stated several nice 8 points and a 10 have come off property with a 13-point harvested on neighbors. There are decent access trails through hunting lease. The landowner will clean some of the fallen trees. ATV use and camping are allowed for hunting purposes. Camper needs to be removed at the end of hunting season. You can post the property. The landowner is a very nice guy and encourages the improvement of the property for wildlife. If you want to put in food plots you are allowed -get with landowner on size and location. The hidden fields would make perfect spots! This hunting lease holds lots of deer!
