I rate this tract at the top as being a honey hole. Really lucky to have this landowner allow hunting. Properties like this are hard to find, very light hunting in the past. You drive thru a coded gate and travel down a gravel drive that reminded me of a national forest road. Multiple lanes cutting off to the left and right. Situated on a 380 acres parcel on a large point bordering Lake Hartwell. This one has it all. Pine, Oaks, Bedding areas and open. Mast producing trees throughout. It was to be developed back in the 80's, thus the lanes and Cul de sacs. Landowner lives on the property; he will not be developing. Hunting and food plot opportunities are numerous. All the roads and turn around areas now look like old logging roads. Rub and older scrapes all along the lanes and are numerous. Bordered on one side by Choestoea Creek and a back water cove on the other, looks like some duck hunting to me. Several hundred acres that borders the property does not allow any hunting. Landowner has numerous pictures of deer and sees them all the time. Also, several bears (do not shoot). MY description does not describe nor explain how much I like this tract; you will not be disappointed.
Landowner has several stands and tower stands in place, use if you want. Be cautious I did not check the stability nor if any repairs are needed.
Landowner does not want any hunting from the split in the road which is approximately 300 yards from his house. About 30 acres at the very tip of the point where his home is located. His house is all the way at the end of the point, which is about 1 mile from the gate.
Landowner wants to be notified when you hunt, just a simple text will work. He has cameras at the main gate. He also has cameras throughout to watch the property and the wildlife. Super nice landowner.
ATV for hunting purposes only.
