This 65-acre hunting lease in the heart of Brown County, Indiana offers excellent habitat, seclusion, and opportunity. When I say off the beaten path, I mean it! This one has several gravel roads that lead up to it and it is very secluded. The parcel was hit by straight line winds this past spring, so the front portion has had a lot of trees taken down and the deer are taking advantage of the new tall grass to bed in. Once you get past the front portion, the property really turns into a hidden gem, with lots of hardwoods, great trails crisscrossing the ridges, and a pond that had no shortage of tracks all around it! I jumped several deer in the south east corner and then watched two more run off to the neighbors from the north east corner. The terrain is gently rolling i more places but can be a little steep. The hillsides are loaded with hardwood trees for good ambush spots and there is also several oaks and other mast trees, too. This will be a dynamite property for guys who want to get off the beaten path. In addition to the 65 acres on the lease, there is several public hunting opportunities as well!
