Here is an amazing lease in a beautiful part of Nebraska! This property looks great on Google Earth but even more impressive in person! On the south half of the lease the Ponca Creek cuts through diagonally and along its way, creates wetlands and thickets. The sloughs that feed off the Ponca split the hay meadows and make each opening between meadows an opportunity to catch a big cruiser buck cutting across. Deer travel from bedding to a main row crop food source on the north side, this could be corn, soybeans, or alfalfa on different years. This crop field is the first of many going north up to the Missouri River's edge. Deer will be filtering in and out of those crop fields when on their food pattern. There is ridgeline that dies off into the northwest corner of the lease and creates a pinch point at the southwest corner of the row crops, on Google Earth, you can see deer trails coming off that ridge and going into the row crops. After you get some cameras on this farm, you will discover an abundance of different bucks and all types of other game to support your hunting group.
