This hunting lease is leased and not available. I explored this charming hunting property in Kiowa County and was quite impressed with what I observed. The land features Mesquite and abundant cover, with agricultural fields on two sides of the Mesquite. The landowner mentioned that once they receive more rainfall, he plans to plant wheat. The property boasts excellent cover, and a creek runs nearly the entire length of it. I spotted four impressive bucks and seven doe in the sunflower thicket that blankets the bottom and both sides of the creek. There is ample cover on this property, providing deer with numerous spots to rest and move about undetected. This location would offer a group of hunters a fantastic opportunity to harvest a quality Oklahoma deer.

Additionally, I had a conversation with the Kiowa County game warden, who informed me that there are elk in the vicinity. The landowner indicated that they haven't seen any, but they are known to be around. You're also not far from the Wichita Mountains.

Camping is permitted, as are four-wheelers. At the time of inspection, there were no livestock present; the landowner mentioned that there might be some on the wheat this winter, but he was uncertain about it.
