This hunting lease is leased and not available.
I want to mention this upfront so it's not overlooked: nothing that screws into a tree may be used on this farm, including bow hangers. This farm has thousands of walnut trees that will eventually be harvested years down the road and protecting them is a priority to the landowner. You may only use straps to attach anything to a tree. Stands must either be removed each year or the straps loosened so the tree does not grow into them. I'm sure you understand the importance of this rule given the value of walnut trees.
Let me also mention that I have not yet been to this farm. With hunting season just around the corner, it was more important to get this property in front of you now rather than wait another couple of weeks until I had the chance to walk it. The property sits in the southeast corner of Henry County, near where Bureau and Stark Counties meet. This area is known for producing solid deer numbers and quality bucks. Please take some time to study the aerial photo, you will see this farm has tremendous potential with its topography, natural funnels, and Tomahawk Creek meandering through it. It is also bordered by a city park on the southeast side of the property, which to my knowledge is no hunting. Request the driving directions and take a look for yourself.
