Deer Lease Only! Here we have a unique property that will hunt like a suburban property but is in the county, so all regulations are county based. No specific regulations for being in a town or city. The property basically wraps around a small subdivision and borders the Smith River. It has a diverse topography with a couple ridges and bottoms along the creek and river. Easy access to most of the property. The only area that is a little challenging is the section across the railroad (A cross-over is in the process of being reinstalled in the coming months.) The property has planted pine sections and some mature hardwoods including some white oaks that are producing mast.
My walk through on this property found plenty of rubs, some very nice. Good trails, fresh droppings and plenty of tracks. This property will produce plenty of deer action and it could hold a suburban giant. I do know of some nice bucks that have been hit by cars through the years on highway 220 in this area. It is only a few hundred yards from the property. MUST CONTACT LEASING AGENT WITH INSPECTION DATE AND TIME.
