A very nice Macoupin County farm is now available for lease. The property offers good elevation changes, which you can clearly see from the aerial photo. Natural waterways run through the farm and feed directly into the timber, creating ideal travel corridors for deer moving between cover and the ag fields. The timber is a mix of pines along with both hard and softwoods, with thick underbrush in certain spots that provide excellent bedding. While walking the property, I jumped about eight deer, four of them came out of the south woodlot. This lease has a lot of opportunities. I like the way it lays out, and it sits in a strong area of the county for deer hunting. If this farm is hunted properly and at the right times, I think it will produce a solid Illinois buck!

*Lease runs from the date leased through 1 August
*No trucks are to be driven on the property.
*The use of screws, screw-in steps, and nails are prohibited.
*ATV use permitted for hunting purposes only - no joy riding - stay out of row crops.
*No hunting blinds or equipment on roads, driveways or in paths of irrigation equipment.
*Any temporary hunting blinds or equipment placed on tillable acreage must be removed by 3/15 of each year to allow for farming practices.
*No permanent hunting blinds shall be used anywhere on the property.
*Licensee shall not drive on farm fields with a vehicle.
*No camping at any time – this includes parking of campers / RVs.
*Under no circumstances should trash be left behind by any of the hunters or guests.
