The surrounding properties to the West, North and East are also predominantly cover, including Shawnee State Forest that sits to the West and Norh. Across the road by the river sits abundant agricultural ground. So, this property is wedged in between great cover ground and agricultural grounds. I think about one out of every 5 pines on the property were used as rubs that I found. Jumped multiple deer while visiting, good tracks on the property were visible after what was a fresh snow the day before. Good oak stands, pine stands, and a mix of thick and open timber. This could be a great property for someone who likes timber hunting. Please look at the trail cam photos for the property. Good mature and upcoming deer already on the property. No one had permission to hunt for the previous years. Loads of turkey sign on this property. This could be fantastic turkey hunting. Camping allowed. Respectable ATV use for hunting purposes only.
