This hunting lease is leased and not available. Here is a Franklin County Virginia property located just outside of Rocky Mount. The property is a part of a working dairy farm. It consists of some cattle fields, row crops and wooded creek line. A small branch feeds the Pigg River which is the boundary on the southeast side. Some of the fields are planted in cover crops during the winter. Don't let the aerial fool you! The wooded area along the water ways is a natural travel corridor. I found plenty of sign traveling that area during my walk through. Some big tracks and old rubs were visible too. Some oaks are present in the wood lots and will be an attraction when mast is falling. Deer are regularly spotted on the property as the farmer is working. I saw a group of 4 does in a field when I was there. ATV is acceptable for hunting purposes only. Camping may be allowed. Get with the farmer about location.
