This hunting lease is leased and not available.
This 355-acre tract in Yell County is a turkey hunter's dream. I personally walked this property at daybreak and let me tell you - it's the real deal. I heard several different gobblers firing off from opposite ends of the property, and I even seen a few during the inspection. The landowner tells me he sees groups of 30 birds at a time out here, and after seeing those small oak ridge's dropping into the open pastureland, I can definitely see it.
It's a textbook setup. The birds have high, secure roosting spots on those oak and pine ridges, and they've got hundreds of acres of open pasture to strut and feed in all day long.
2026 Season Breakdown (Zone 1)
Total Lease Window: April 1 – May 15
Special Youth Hunt: April 11–12 (A great chance to get a kid on a bird)
Regular Season: April 20 – May 10
Why You Want This Lease
Massive Space: 355 acres of private Yell County ground. You aren't going to be bumping into anyone else out here.
Pre-Season Scouting: Since the lease starts April 1st, you have nearly three full weeks to sit on those ridges and pattern these birds before the season even opens.
The "30-Bird" Factor: With the landowner's sightings and what I heard at daybreak, the population on this tract is incredibly strong.
If you're looking for a private spot away from the public pressure, this is it. It's a premium piece of hunting ground with a great landowner.
