95 acres in Taylor County. This is a Deer and Turkey hunting lease only. This property has two separate wood lots on it that are each located between larger tracts of timber making them ideal travel corridors to intercept traveling deer. This can be especially true during the rut when wandering bucks are looking for hot does. The cover in these areas can be bedding areas also. Lots of rubs and trails were present during my inspection. Fresh tracks in the fields indicated recent usage. A small pond is located on the edge of the east block of timber providing a good water source for game all year and a good ambush spot as well. Crops can be a mix of row crop and hay. Plenty of mature trees allow different stand opportunities. The landowners would like to meet the hunters initially. Be respectful of all boundaries. Respectful use of ATV's is allowed for hunting related activities when weather and ground conditions permit. No tree cutting. No use of nails, screws, or screw in tree steps is allowed.
