80 acres in Price County. This is a Deer and Turkey lease only. This gentle rolling property consists of a couple of hardwood ridges, pines, and swampy area that is sandwiched between the ridges. Deer sign in the form of trails, tracks, rubs, and beds was all present during my inspection. The ridges can be great ambush sites for the traveling deer herd as they head to neighboring crop fields or browse for food. The landowner reports seeing deer in these fields and on his lawn when traveling in and out of his property. The landowner lives on the property and can keep an eye on things. Small ATV trails on the ridges can provide access deeper into the property. Open areas on and around the ridges can provide good ambush sites. Plenty of mature trees for stand locations. Some logging was done a couple of years ago and regrowth provides food and bedding for the deer. The landowner would like to meet the hunters initially. Be respectful of all boundaries. Respectful use of ATV's is allowed for hunting related activities when weather and ground conditions permit. No tree cutting. No use of nails, screws, or screw in tree steps is allowed.
