This hunting lease is leased and not available. This property should be a great deer, turkey and waterfowl location and is located just a few minutes off of State Route 33 in Union County. Well known location for quality bucks. Abundant small game on the property as well. A great 12-acre wetland with stop log structure sits right in the middle of the property for you waterfowl enthusiasts, that doubles as great cover for wildlife around it. The property has a great stand of large oaks as well as areas of dense cover. A 10-acre hidden ag field on the back side of the property showed heavy browse from wildlife and had many heavy deer trails leading from cover into the field. Another field right behind the house also had good deer trails leading to it. Areas of grasses and forbs are in two locations. An old pasture and behind the cabin. The landowner is open to food plot and wetland manipulation for wildlife benefit in locations if you are interested in installing them. There is a small cabin with electric that is open to hunters if needed. You will need to maintain the cabin yourself. Landowner allows for camping by HIP campers during the summer months until Sept. 21st. No hunting during camping season to reduce conflict. Please notify landowner when accessing the property during these months, so they can notify camper on site. A great fishing pond (catch and release only) as well as two other ponds and a wetland on site for year around water. Another pond is currently being filled in by the county. Therefore, some trucks may be using the lane to bring in dirt. Lanes on the property for easy access. Respectable ATV use for hunting purposes only.
