Here's fantastic hunting lease opportunity for a group of hunters. 900 acres of really nice hunting ground. I walked and drove this property for half a day, and I was not disappointed one bit. Cover, timber, draws. This lease will not disappoint. While looking over the lease I walked up on a total of 8 coveys of quail, jumped all together approximately 17 deer total. Some might have been the same deer but there were eight really solid bucks that I walked up on. Seen several doe and yearlings also. The body size of the deer did not disappoint, big body deer and healthy also. Quail numbers really surprised me also, I believe quail may be on a comeback here in Oklahoma. The property has lots of timber, lots of ground cover and several clearings coming in and out of the woods that will make great pinch points to hunt around to catch the deer moving. Northwestern Oklahoma is known for giant deer and in my opinion this lease should prove to be a good one. Landowner states they have seen big deer in the area, and they are probably right from what I witnessed.
