This hunting lease is leased and not available. I was incredibly surprised at what this 42-acre farm had to offer. You will see from the photos by the size of rubs that I found. I was taken back when I came upon the one rub where he was hitting a tree that was at least eighteen inches round. You will see in the photo where his tines were tearing into this tree. I found a couple of nice stand locations along with several pinch points where the creek comes close to the timber forcing the deer to travel through this area, and they are. I parked on the southeast corner of the property and when I finished walking the farm I ended up on the northwest corner, so I cut through the field to walk back to my truck. The row crop field was littered with deer tracks. There was not a step I took without seeing deer tracks. I can say the same thing about the timber line along the creek; deer tracks were all over. Do not overlook the two acres that sit on the other side of the creek that almost touches the row crops of the bordering farm. (Note: you can walk across this creek) There was a lot of deer sign within this patch of timber. This farm would be great for one or two guys wanting the opportunity to take a great Illinois buck or even a parent and child.
