In the southwestern corner of Jackson County, near the Trempealeau and La Crosse County borders, lies this 40 acre property located along a dead end gravel road. Property is a nice mix of timbered and agricultural ground with a natural funnel running through the center of it. Logging road runs along the western side of the property giving good access through the timber that leads to a hidden field on the northwest corner planted in row crops and alfalfa. The power lines running through the timbered ground should make for excellent stand locations, especially during the gun deer season. I saw plenty of deer and turkey sign on the day of inspection and for those of you who have been waiting for a hunting lease in Trempealeau or La Crosse County, this might be the next best thing. Some of the property does get pastured by a few horses, but typically are off pasture before deer hunting season. The landowner does some selective logging at times, but understands the need to have this be minimal during especially the deer hunting seasons.

All legal game is yours to hunt. Respectful use of ATV for hunting related activities is also okay. Food plots and camping are allowed with permission from landowner as to location. Landowner is Amish so please avoid doing your inspection on Sundays as he will not be able to meet with you on those days.
