This hunting lease is leased and not available. This lease is located in Morgan County, Kentucky. The farm is a typical "mountain" property, consisting of steep slopes and flat to gently rolling ridge tops and benches. Normal for this part of Kentucky. However, there is one very big draw that sets this property apart from others in this area and that is, it has crops!! There is about 10 acres of corn located in the bottom along the creek (inspection prior to 2020). Crops are hard to come by in this area, so this should be a huge draw for local deer. There are also very few houses nearby, which is a plus. The Highway Dept. has begun road construction (as of Summer 2020), widening out the Parkway along the farm's Northern Boundary. The landowner has allowed them to place fill dirt on land that was once a part of the original parcel. It has been removed from the lease. The map does not illustrate this in the satellite image due to its very recent activity.

I saw some pretty heavily worn deer trails upon inspection, and saw several turkeys. The property is mostly mature timber with a few thickets and second growth areas. The ridge tops on both sides of the road were very nice and offered some good set ups. The roads have been opened up and are accessible by ATV. The owner leases the bottom out to a local farmer for the crops.
