This one is about as good as it gets for southeast Kansas. As you can tell from the aerial, it has plenty of woods, and plenty of food. There is a good looking pond on the north end, as well as a couple of creeks running through the woods. Two creeks converge on the south side while running east to west, and it averages about ten feet wide. The other creek runs from the north to south, and averages about five feet wide. There are several openings on the edge of the woods that are just begging to be hunted. There is also several pecan trees, and tons of blackberry brambles scattered about.
We kicked up several deer while inspecting, and found a handful of rubs. Tracks were all over the edges of the field, and deer damage on the crops was easy to see.
All access will be from the north or the east, which most of the time is ideal in combating the wind. A small hay meadow on the north side will be an ideal place to park.
It is ten miles from Parsons, twenty miles from Pittsburg.
The house to the NW is not the owner.
