Landowner just purchased 20 acres to property to increase from 278 to 298 acres. This also provides another access point. Landowner has added an additional 37 acres. to increase property size to 335 acres. This hunting lease is located approximately 100 miles from New York City. This property will feature deer, bear and turkey hunting. The property is almost 100% wooded and has logging trails throughout it. I saw plenty of deer and turkey sign on my inspection. Black bear has been harvested off this property in the past. This lease has several mountain tops and several stands of pine. It is a big woods and will hunt 5 hunters easily. The property has 3 different access points. The main access is off blacktop and has a trail system that will take you through the heart of the property. The property currently has selective logging going on, however from the 1st of October through the end of December there will be no logging. ATV use is allowed for hanging stands and game retrieval. Camping will be permitted with the landowner's approval for site location. The landowner also has a 4-bedroom house available for rent that can accommodate 8 people. It has water, heat, kitchen and a bathroom. You need to get with the landowner to negotiate price. There also are several bed and breakfasts within 2 to 3 miles of this hunting lease. No fishing allowed in streams and the landowner encourages getting with him for the lay of the land and game movement patterns.
