This hunting lease is leased and not available.
On the western side of Chippewa County lies this 130 acre hunting lease. During talks with the landowner prior to my visit, he told me about all the big bucks that have been taken off of his property. Luckily he had pictures to back up that claim which are shown in the listing.
Property is a mix of agriculture and hardwood timbered ground. There is also a small creek on the western side and bit larger stream just into his neighbors property. There was also a half acre or so clover food plot that had been established by his previous hunters.
This is a deer, turkey and bear hunting lease only. Respectful use of ATV for hunting related activities is okay. Food plots with permission from landowner are also okay. No camping allowed at this time. Landowner would like to meet with you initially and then get the make and license plates of your vehicles so he can watch over things while you are not there. Landowner also is adamant about controlling predators on his property and certainly one of the reasons why the population of deer is so high in this area, thus he is allowed to continue to trap coyotes, fox, fischer and coon.
Landowner still actively farms the property and cuts firewood. He used to hunt himself and thus, is willing to work with whoever leases the property to minimize his work on the property while you are hunting. He very much encourages you to contact him prior to your hunts and work with you on making your time on the property enjoyable and productive. He would like to meet with you prior to you leasing the property, so when going to inspect, let me know and I can give you his phone number to set up contact date and time.
