This hunting lease is leased and not available. I don't get very many farms in Pike County, but when I do they don't usually last long. This is a very remote county with really good deer numbers. Lease lays out very well with 25 acres of CRP, 60 Acres of grown up area on East side, 30 acres of timber and around 150 of row crops. If you are looking at the harvest reports for Indiana this may not be on top but the hunter density is lower resulting in minimal hunting pressure on the deer.

I jumped deer off every part of this farm that I walked and I was really impressed at how much bedding cover this lease has. The North West corner is CRP that will grow up to create great bedding. The Eastern part that they don't crop gets cut every 2-3 years and is also some great bedding habitat for deer and a nesting area for turkeys. The woods have plenty of cover and good oak trees as a natural food source. A pond and multiple streams will give you the deer and turkey a good water source year round. There is an access point in the South West corner of the property on an old county road that dead ends into the farm. The North West and entire North side offers good access as well. Respectful ATV use for hunting purposes only. This is a good looking farm that is covered up in wildlife, go check it out!
