This property sits in the Western part of Morgan Co. between the towns of Campton and West Liberty. The topography largely consists of rolling hills, forested drainages, draws, and creek bottoms. Most of the open areas are cattle pasture, however the landowner rotates several small fields in row crops, restricting livestock access. Turkey hunters look no further, birds are on this farm. Feathers, tracks and dusting areas were everywhere upon inspection. Mostly along the tops of the ridges, within the confines of the roads. The timber located on the farm are mixed hardwoods with good stands of oaks and hickories that were loaded with mast in 2019. Deer were using several of the cattle trails throughout the woods, they shouldn't be hard to find. Cattle cannot access all of the timber. Permanent water sources exist in the form of ponds and creeks scattered all across the premises. The landowner has a tenant that lives at the end of one of the roads and will be able to keep an eye on the things but expects individuals to be respectful of his gates and livestock. There are two main access points available for hunters, one on each end of the property. ATVs and Camping are acceptable for hunting purposes only.
